Around 3 weeks before the season finale of Big Brother, Aaryn Gries was evicted from the reality TV Series because of the racist remarks she was said to have committed weeks ago. It was almost a few weeks now since the controversy stirred on Big Brother and right now, they have no choice but to evict her from the show. It was a unanimous decision made by her fellow houseguests during the last episode that triggered for Aaryn to be evicted from the show. Aside from the elimination, there was another bad thing that happened to Aaryn that night, a thing she never expected to happen. During that night, following the vote, the TV celebrity was forced to face tough questions from host Julie Chen and this interrogation focused on how many offensive remarks she has made during the entire moment she became part of the show. The 22-year-old evictee had no idea of the firestorm that erupted from her use of racist and homophobic slurs and she didn’t know that it caused her to be dropped by a modeling agency. Aaryn still doesn't know about getting let go; as a jury member, she's still sequestered. But Chen did keep her promise to grill Aaryn, and started by reading a series of the offensive statements she made. Those included comments about Asian houseguest Helen Kim and gay competitor Andy Herren. After the eviction, Aaryn was still grilled by Chen. However, Aaryn was surprised and said, "I do not remember saying those things." The live audience booed and laughed on her with her reaction. "That was not meant to be serious,” she added. “If I said those things, I feel horrible for that and I regret that. I don't even know what to say about that." Aaryn seemed shocked at Chen's line of questioning and the audience's negative reaction toward her. She also tried to defend her actions by saying she was a Southerner. "In Texas, we say things. Sometimes we joke and we don't mean it," she said. "I feel how bad it is being seen and how I've come across to people. I don't want to seem like that person." The season finale for Big Brother Season 15 is set to air on September 18, 2013 and sad to say Aaryn is no longer reaching that point.
