A&E Television Network has canceled one of its crime drama series, “The Glades”, which already wrapped up for its fourth season on Monday. The Glades is a crime drama action TV Series which follows Matt Passmore as Jim, a Chicago cop who gets kicked off the force after being shot and mistakenly accused by his ex-captain for having an affair with his wife. Now, after he received his payout, Jim decided to move to a small town in Florida to join the state police. After the season 4 finale episode which aired last Monday, the series drew around 3.408 million total viewers so it was quite surprising that A&E still decided to cancel the show for another new season. The TV network said that Season 4 as a whole did not fare as well, averaging 2.6million total viewers, with 762,000 of them in the 18-49 demographic most important to advertisers. That explains why they decided to cancel the show, perhaps. The Glades started airing on screen on July 2010 and it has already released 4 seasons since its season premiere. The series has an airing schedule of 10PM every Sunday nights on A&E.
