In the latest episode of American Idol Season 12, it was really disappointing to hear Amber Holcomb’s name being called as the latest evictee in the reality singing competition TV Series. Though we can hardly see one Idol finalist walking out from the stage and excusing himself or herself from the press room following a show taping, but that is the exact scenario in which the viewers have seen last Thursday night when Amber Holcomb was sent home. When her elimiantion is being announced, tears started to roll down her cheeks while she was still on stage. While everyone else is crying, judge Nicki Minal pleaded with the Houston native to dry those eyes and said,”You did not fail. You’re a winner!” We all know that every week, in the competition, someones has to go home and this week, it has to be Amber Holcomb. Soon enough, she will learn that the only way to look is forward and simply move on. As a matter of fact, bigger opportunities are already waiting for her outside and one of which is the upcoming North American tour on the horizon. She’s already dropping names of artists she’d like to collaborate with -- be it a guest vocal or an opening slot. “Rihanna, Miguel, Frank Ocean, Nicki… I want to be everywhere,” she said with wide eyes. “They are genuine and so loving,” Amber tells about the judges. “They really care about us.”
