About Headline Season 4, Episode 0 :
As the competition goes deep, it becomes tougher and tougher and with only six remaining finalists left to battle for the American Idol title, I’m pretty sure that each one of the contestants see to it that they give their best performances ever. But among the six Idol finalists, who do you think gave the best Idol performance? On last Wednesday’s American Idol episode, the six remaining finalists each performed two songs, one “Song I Wish I Wrote†and one from the Burt Bacharach songbook. It was also during this week’s episode of the reality TV Series singing competition that their backstory videos were also featured and who would have thought that Angie Miller was a fan of hardcore music? Without that portion of the episode, you would not also know that Lazaro Arbos is actually enjoying hunting aside from singing and that Amber Holcomb’s enjoyment of frozen “shrimpsicles†make you curious or it probably grossed you out as well. But so much of those tidbits! Let’s now go on with their performances.  It was Candice who pulled off the excitement in the center stage during that night. Candice got all the good praises from the judges. She is considered the only singer in the competition who consistently seems like a professional on stage, appearing more comfortable singing behind a microphone than she does speaking in front of a camera. The standing ovation she got at the end of her “Don’t Make Me Over†performance was well-deserved. She also brought her “A Game†when she sung The Cure’s “Lovesong†rendition. Her rendition was very outstanding that Carey even marched up on stage to throw glitter on Candice, who started crying. The best performance of this season so far, “One of the greatest performances in the history, 12 years of American Idol,†Randy Jackson said.
