Two of the hit TV series that came out on the winners list for this year’s Emmys are Breaking Bad and Modern Family. On Sunday’s Emmys, the it was the first time for the brutal, drug-fueled Breaking Bad to capture the best Drama Emmy Award, denying the online series “House of Cards†a history-making honor. In an interview, Breaking Bad Creator Vince Gilligan said that he didn’t see it coming. In other news, however, Jeff Daniels won the Emmy for best drama series actor for his portrayal of an idealistic TV anchorman in "The Newsroom," with Claire Danes capturing top actress honors for her troubled CIA agent in "Homeland."
