An issue came out a month ago stating that Cote de Pablo could have left NCIS if not for the increase she received from the CBS TV Network. However, this time, the NCIS star finally speaks up about the reason why he decided to leave NCIS. Cote said that it was not an easy decision for her to make but she thinks that it would be best if he leave the CBS drama TV Series as early as now. Though it shocked and saddened many of her fans, she heartfelt explained the reason why she made an early departure from the show. “It was not an easy decision, not one taken lightly. I feel like I am leaving my family,” she said in a statement in one magazine published on August 13. “What I want to say most of all is thank you to the fans and to the people who have been so supportive of me and of the show, who have made the show the great success that it is." Her departure fell after eighth long seasons and she said that it was entirely her choice, not influenced by anybody, though her CBS boss Les Moonves said that she was offered a lot of money that’s why she reconsidered staying for the show. Now that she is no longer part of NCIS, for sure, Fans will miss her feisty Ziva, as well as the character’s relationship with Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly). “NCIS” showrunner Gary Glasberg has promised that De Pablo’s departure will include “a really significant Tony/Ziva payoff — everything I hope the Tiva fans have been waiting for."
