Dallas is a longtime running American primetime TV Series which revolves in the story of the wealthy and feuding Texan, Ewing family, who own the independent oil company, Ewing Oil, and the cattle-ranching land of Southfork. Originally, the television sitcom focused on the marriage of Bobby Ewing and Pamela Barnes, whose families were sworn enemies with each other ever since the show began. In the season finale of Dallas which aired just a few hours ago, we have already found out who killed J.R. During Dallas’ Season finale, we knew who shot J.R. Ewing the first time around, going back to the season which aired 30 years back in 1980, but who put the final bullet in Texas oild baron who took great delight in being called a “scoundrel?”It was J.R. himself. But how did it happen? If you haven’t watched the episode, then you have surely missed a lot. During the Season 2 finale episode which ended up a little bit twisty, the series paid ven’homage to both Larry Hagman’s iconic J.R. Ewing character and the “Who shot J.R.” storyline from the original series. The writers of Dallas even revealed that it was J.R. who had plotted his own murder, part of a grand scheme to put an end to the decades-long Ewing/Barnes feud while ensuring that it was Ewings who emerged victorious. However, J.R. was not the one who pulled the trigger. In a letter intended to be given to Bobby (Patrick Duffy), J.R. revealed he had been diagnosed with cancer, and had just days to live when he made his fateful journey to a hotel in Mexico. Now the question here is that, did Cliff Barnes put the final bullet in the Texas oil baron? If you have watched the episode, then you have probably found out.
