About Headline Season 8, Episode 0 :
Good news Dexter fanatics! Your favorite dark avenger/serial killer will be back earlier than expected. It is announced by the Showtime president of entertainment, David Nevins, that Dexter will premiere its first episode of the 8th season not in fall of 2013 but in June 30. It will be put in a 9pm time slot directly putting it on the same time as HBO's True Blood. It will be followed by the newest series of Showtime entitled Ray Donovan. Aside from this, David Nevins also announced other premiere dates on the network such as Homeland season 3 on September 29 followed by the new series, Master of Sex. Othere premiere dates includes Inside Comedy, which returns its second season with new episodes on Louis C.K., Steve Martin, Tina Fey and Will Ferrell on Feb. 11 at 11 p.m.; Nurse Jackie bows its fifth season on April 14 at 9 p.m., followed by The Borgias' season three premiere at 10 p.m.; and the four-part limited event series The Big C: hereafter debuts on April 29. He also mentioned something about ending of Dexter. Here's what he said: I'm not making any announcements today about when Dexter will end. I will make an announcement before goes on air this season. The decision of when to end Dexter is ultimately a creative decision. I want to take care of it in a way that is respectful to the franchise. Is that amazing or what?
