Game of Thrones is one of the greatest hit on television screen so to be part of it is such a big opportunity for one actor or actress, so when Natalie Dormer became part of the hit fantasy drama TV Series, she was but grateful of the opportunity. Right now, another geat opportunity is coming on Dormer’s way as she becomes part of the cast of the blockbuster hit movie, The Hunger Games, on its Mockingjay sequel. Lionsgate announced on Thursday that Natalie Dormer has joined the cast of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Parts 1 & 2. Dormer, who plays the role of Margaery Tyrell on the HBO TV Series, will be playing the role of Cressida, a director from the Capitol who documents Katniss’ (Jennifer Lawrence) who journey through the upcoming rebellion. Mockingjay serves as the third book in The Hunger Games franchise and this third and last movie will be divided into two parts, the first of which will be released on November 21, 2014. The next installment, however, is scheduled a year after with a release date of November 20, 2015. Meanwhile, Catching Fire which is the much awaited second film is going to hit movie theaters on November 22 this year. Dormer is also known for her roles on Elementary as Irene Adler and The Tudors as Anne Boleyn.
