After a few weeks of not giving any comments to the death of her boyfriend, Glee star Lea Michelle finally breaks her silence after she dedicates her Teen Choice Award to the late Cory Monteith. After nearly a month since the actors untimely and sudden death, Lea Michelle finally decided to break her silence and she chose to say it emotionally during the 2013 Teen Choice Awards. After the tragedy, this is her first public appearance. Lea walked onto the stage wearing a big smile and she even waved to accept her award for Choice TV Actress in a comedy. She was half-happy and half-sad while receiving the award. Noticing this, presented Lily Collins gave her an immediate warm hug and Michele's cast mates Kevin McHale, Jenna Ushkowitz, and Amber Riley quickly followed suit, surrounding the star in a group embrace to offer their support. And during her speech, that’s the time when Lea finally burst out. "Thank you guys. Thank you," she began. "I just wanted to be here today to personally thank all of you and tell everyone out there how much all of your love and support has meant to me over these very past difficult few weeks. Thank you." "Not that I had doubt before, but you guys are certainly the greatest fans in the world, and I want to dedicate this award to Cory," she explained. "For all of you who loved and admired Cory as much as I did, I promise that with your love we are going to get through this together." Tears finally flowed down her cheeks while she said that. It was obvious that she was happy to receive the award while sad at the same time for she was probably missing her one true love. It’s just a month since Monteith died and it is still probably fresh for Michelle, all the pain.
