The animated 3D film, Megamind, takes the number one spot of the Weekend Box Office for the period November 5-7, 2010. The unusual villain/hero animation takes a solid $47.65 million on its opening weekend on over 3,944 theaters in the US making a great hit to reach its $130 million production cost. The 2nd rank on the box office was taken by Robert Downey Jr.'s Due Date which earned about $33.5 million on over 3,355 movie houses that it was shown.
