About Headline Season 4, Episode 0 :
The cast and crew of Modern Family were trotted out to their biggest fans a month ago and they were forced to dish on their creepy moments, inappropriate jokes and dream guest stars for the show. The TV Network called this program their “Fan Appreciation Day†and in here, USA selected around 600 Modern Family fans to attend a table read and Q&A at Westwood’s Regency Village Theater. In keeping with the theme, fans had selected season two's "Caught in the Act" for the read-through. The episode, in which the Dunphy kids walk in on their parents having sex, won a 2011 Emmy for its writing, thanks to co-producer Jeffrey Richman and co-creator Steven Levitan, who acknowledged that it was inspired by a real-life incident. This Fan Appreciation Day happened last October 28 and it is considered to be part of an unprecedented marketing push at USA and it even shelled out approximately $1.8million for every episodes for reruns of the 20th Century Fox TV Show. As told in a report before, the television  network spent nearly $10 million just for the campaign which was traditionally reserved for the original series. Starting last September 24, the network launched Modern repeats five nights a week in the hopes of earning the title of being the most outstanding comedy series for Emmy for four consecutive years. Much like the show, the evening offered big laughs, whether it was Julie Bowen’s flawless impression of Sofia Vergara's characteristic Colombian accent, Rico Rodriquez’s persistent heckling of the show’s writers for not giving him a role in "Caught in the Act" or Richman’s confession that he was more relieved as a writer than a gay man when Prop 8 was overturned.
