On my previous post - The Twilight Saga: Eclipse Breaks Another Record, the movie breaks the midnight opening record beating Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince with $30 million earning. Now with the whole day released of the Eclipse film, it sets another breaking record beating the title holder for the largest earning for Wednesday opening. The newest movie that features stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner, earn over $68 million in the Wednesday opening beating Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen which earned $62 million a year ago. Aside from this record breaking earning, Eclipse also holds the record for widest opening release with over 4,400 theaters. However, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse didn't surpass the record of its predecessor The Twilight Saga: New Moon on an all-time opening day earning record with over $72 million earning.
