The semi-final round is one of the most crucial part of every competition because this is where you need to perform very well for you to move on to the most crucial round of all, the Finals. This is during the time where most of the remaining finalists are simply the best and they need to work very hard to outshine each other. Talking about the semi-final round, the top 5 finalists of The Voice reality singing competition really had a great battle presented against each other when they performed last Monday night. Each of the remaining semi-finalists brought their A game and bested in their respective performances. The show was packed with standout performances staring from Sasha Allen who covered the Whitney Houston version of "I Will Always Love You" and Michelle Chamuel taking on Cyndi Lauper's "Time After Time”. During the first round, the Swon Brothers performed Bob Seger's "Turn The Page" while the Oklahoma siblings received a standing ovation from their coach, Blake Shelton. Blake even said that he was blown away by their performance and he was a bit surprised. He also noted that they showed progress all across Season 4 and he was never that proud. Meanwhile, coach Adam Levine said Sasha Allen did a great job when she performed Whitney Houston’s version of “I Will Always Love You.” Levine thinks she did a great job in performing one of the toughest songs he things are the most difficult to sing. Yet again, it was Michelle Chamuel who won over Adam who said she had nothing else to say “other than I love you.” “You’re amazing,” he added after Michelle performed the Zedd song “Clarity. Danielle Bradbery, on the other hand, performed Tim McGraw's "Please, Remember Me" and the impressed Adam said that she couldn’t have performed the song any better. And as for Amber Carrington, she performed Katy Perry’s “Firework” and Blake was won over by her performance and told her, “the power of your voice is phenomenal.” The Voice continues with the semifinals this Tuesday on NBC.
