Polly's life ends up hanging in the balance after she is wounded after being stabbed by Hannah. She is hidden in the basement. After Dylan is found by Hannah and she tires to explain he won't listen. As he has hidden his dog, Dervla, in the basement, he isn't keen on anyone go down there.
